AR Ab West was born Abdul Ibrahim West on September 26, 1982 located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States. There isn’t any information on his childhood, parents, or academic details. His grandmother passed away in the year 2012. Within a few weeks, the mother had left the world. He had an older brother who passed away before his mother and grandmother.

West began his rapping career as battle rapper. Then West joined the hip-hop band, Larsiny Family. The group consists of four other members: Cassidy, Shiz Lansky, Luck-E along with Chubby Jag.
