Mirabel (voice of Stephanie Beatriz)
Mirabel is the only member of her amazing family without a magical ability. She’s on a mission to prove that she belongs, denying to everyone, even herself, that she’s lonely… even at home. Even still, there’s something special about Mirabel that her family hasn’t quite figured out yet! “Mirabel recalls me of myself when she was her age—brave but hesitant, full of wonder and creativity but occasionally held back by self-doubt,” Beatriz stated recently.
Abuela Alma (Mara Cecilia Botero’s voice)
Alma is the Madrigal family’s matriarch. Her persistent optimism and unwavering perseverance led her to the enchanted Encanto, where she raised triplets Julieta, Pepa, and Bruno. Each of her children received a miraculous gift on their 5th birthday, much to her delight, and the pattern continued with each of their children—except for Mirabel. Abuela (Spanish for “grandmother”) treasures the presents provided to each of her family members, ensuring that they are used to benefit and defend their community, as well as to honour Abuelo Pedro’s sacrifice.
Agustn (voiced by Angie Cepeda) and Julieta (voice of Wilmer Valderrama)
Isabela, Luisa, and Mirabel are Julieta and Agustn’s three daughters. One of Alma’s triplets, Julieta, was given the ability to heal. She doesn’t have a magic wand, but she radiates warmth and love, and her magic is found in the food she lovingly makes for everyone who need it. Meanwhile, having married into the magical family, Agustn feels a little out of place. He’s awkward and prone to accidents, but he always has good intentions, especially when it comes to his children.
Isabela (voice of Diane Guererro)
Isabela, Mirabel’s sister, is practically flawless, possessing an abundance of grace and poise as well as a magical power to make plants grow and flowers bloom.
Luisa (voice of Jessica Darrow)
Luisa, Mirabel’s other sister, was given the gift of tremendous strength for her hard work and determination. She’s the one who handles all of the heavy lifting.
Pepa (voice of Carolina Gaitán) and Félix (voice of Mauro Castillo)
Mirabel’s eccentric aunt and fun-loving uncle, Pepa and Félix, are the parents of Dolores, Camilo, and Antonio. One of Abuela Alma’s triplets, Pepa, was given the ability to manipulate the weather through her emotions. Pepa’s emotions are wide-ranging and ever-changing, thus the prognosis is often unpredictable. Félix, on the other hand, is a steadying force for his passionate wife—easygoing he’s and frequently the life of the party.
Antonio (voice of Ravi Cabot-Conyers)
Antonio, the Madrigal clan’s youngest member, is a bashful young man with a big heart. He has a particular bond with Mirabel, who he turns to for comfort and courage, especially on significant days like the one when his cousin discovers him fearfully lurking beneath his bed.
Camilo (voice of Rhenzy Feliz)
Camilo, the middle child of Pepa and Félix, was born to entertain. Add in his magical ability to change his appearance to become whatever he wants to be at any given time, and he’s guaranteed his position in the spotlight.
Dolores (voice of Adassa)
Dolores is Mirabel’s cousin, and she is usually the first to learn about the town’s deepest secrets, most gripping drama, and most juicy disclosures. She can’t help herself: she was born with exceptional hearing. You can whisper all you want, but Dolores will still hear you!
Bruno (voice of John Leguizamo)
For as long as Mirabel can remember, Bruno, the third of Alma’s triplets, has been estranged from the Madrigal family. With the capacity to see into the future, he made accurate but frequently pessimistic prophecies that caused problems for Abuela and the rest of the family… As a result, he vanished, becoming the uncle no one remembers.
In Encanto, how old is Isabella?
Isabella appears in the film Encanto as one of the main protagonists. Mirabel’s older sister, Isabella, is lovely, stunning, and flawless. She exudes grace and equilibrium. She has the ability to grow plants and saplings as well as bloom flowers. Diane Guerrero portrays Isabella in the film. “She’s an unusual character,” Diane has stated, according to RadioTimes.com. I’ve been trying, you know, to love her and accept her for who she is. And she’s a lot like me in a lot of respects because she appears to be the typical Disney princess… almost the perfect princess – at least that’s how they treat her.
“However, you can see throughout the film that she isn’t at all like that, and there’s a lot bubbling beneath the surface.” And she isn’t flawless, since perfection doesn’t exist. But I think you can sense a lot of rage behind it all; she’s often rolling her eyes, which is another symptom of someone who is unhappy, even if they appear to be beautiful. So I like that you get to watch her break free from that and sing this amazing song with Mirabel, and that you get to see her hug her sister and truly feel for her. And that, you know, is the power of honesty?”
Mirabel appears to be the only child without a magical gift in her amazing family. Mirabel is a 15-year-old who is desperate to prove her worth, claiming that she is lonely even in her own house to everyone, even herself. Mirabel, on the other hand, has something unique about her that her family has yet to discover! “Mirabel reminds me of myself when she was her age—brave yet unsure, full of wonder and intellectual curiosity at moments but held back by self-doubt,” Beatriz recently stated.
