Son of Jeff Timmer was killed in an accident.
The adolescent son of Republican Party leader Jeff Timmer and his wife Mattie suddenly away “unexpectedly,” according to a statement from The Lincoln Project.

Who Was Mekbul Timmer?
Mekbul Timmer was conceived by her parents Mattie Timmer and Jeff Timmer.
The Lincoln Project, a group of Republican Party activists who opposed Donald Trump’s administration, counts Jeff Timmer as a senior advisor.
He is listed as the co-founder of Republicans & Independents for Biden on his father’s Facebook page.
Timmer’s mother is the CEO of the political consulting firm Two Rivers Public Relations and a Michigan State University alumni.
Timmer once completed his high school education at St. Patrick’s School in Portland, Michigan. In August 2021, his mother published a photo of him participating in high school soccer.
Timmer and his family lived in Portland, Michigan, a city located 25 miles northwest of Lansing.
Along with his parents, Timmer is survived by his siblings Joe, Maggie, Mary, and Grace. His passing came as a surprise, according to a Facebook post by her sister, Maggie.
Twitter Honored Mekbul After His Death
In the first week of March 2022, Jeff Timmer’s kid Mekbul passed away. Tributes are flooding Twitter in response.
A few hours after the letter was made public, Jeff shared his grief on his own Twitter account.
“Grief therapist urges me to engage in my usual activities for as long as I can tolerate. I’m about to burn the living daylights out of everyone and everything on this here Twitter app,” he tweeted.
In the comments, Kabul has gotten many accolades. One of those close to him wrote:
