The Government of India offers scholarships to students who are unable to pay for their education. The government launched the National Scholarship Portal. We will be covering all details about the National Scholarship Portal . Its purpose, benefits, features and eligibility criteria. National Scholarship Scheme 2021

Students can apply through the National Scholarship portal for various scholarships offered by the state and central governments. This portal was launched by the Ministry of Electronics and Information technology (Govt. of India). Beneficiaries can check the status of their applications through this portal. You can apply online for a scholarship from the government by following our instructions. New applications will be accepted starting 21 August 2020. Students are no longer required to go to government offices to apply for scholarships. Students can apply for scholarships online by visiting the official website.

Last Date Extension

The government offers scholarships to all eligible students in order to encourage education. The scholarship is available every year. The government has extended the deadline for applying for a scholarship in 2021. All schools, colleges, and universities have been notified by the higher education director of state. He has requested all educational institutions to ensure that the scholarship application deadline is met. Scholarships are available to all school students at level 1.1 or 1.2 until 31 December 2020. Last date for the first phase verification will be 31 January 2021, and 28 February 2021 for the second phase verification. All minority students who want to apply for the scholarship, on merit, pre-metric or post-matriculation basis, must apply by 31 December 2020.

UGC-Schemes (University Grant Commission).

The Apex body for India’s higher educational system is the University Grants Commission (UGC). Some of the scholarships are also hosted by University Grants Commission on the national scholarship portal. These scholarships will offer financial assistance to students at college or university. The NSP UGC Scholarship application process has begun. Extended UGC Scholarship Application Deadline

UGC has extended deadline for online applications for the scholarship. Students who have not yet applied for the scholarship or renewed their applications can do so. Last date to apply for UGC scholarships on the national scholarship portal is 20/01/2021. Also, the last date for student verification by the institute was extended. The new verification date is February 5, 2021. Now, the application process for the national scholarship portal began on September 1, 2020. Indira Gandhi PG Scholarship for Single Girl Child, University rank holder PG Scholarship, North Eastern region Ishan Uday Special Scheme, SC/ ST Professional Course PG Scheme Applications are still open. Students who wish to apply for a scholarship must fill out the application form immediately.

Eligibility Criteria for Ishan Uday Special Scholar Scheme

  • A person must be a resident of North Eastern states, including Assam and Arunachal Pradesh.
  • Only one girl applicant is allowed (twin girls can apply).
  • The applicant should not be older than 30 years
  • The applicant’s family income must not exceed 4.5 lakh
  • The applicant must be admitted in the first year of any degree program (Ishan Uday Scholarship). The applicant must have been admitted in the first year (PG Indira Gandhi Scholarship) of the regular master’s degree program.

Eligibility Criteria for PG Scholarships For University Rank Holders

  • For PG scholarships for university rank holders, the applicant must have been a graduate exam rank holder.
  • For PG scholarships for SC/ST students, the applicant must be a member of the SC/ST category
  • The applicant must be in the first year after graduation.
  • For PG scholarships for university rank holders, applicants must have attained 60% in graduation
  • The applicant’s maximum age is 30

First Step Registration

  • Register yourself at the National Scholarship
  • You can click on the homepage of the website.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions, then click the “continue” button.
  • Please enter the following details: name, date, birth, mobile number and gender.
  • Enter the captcha code, and then click on the “Register” option

Second Step Login

  • Log in using your “Student Register ID”
  • Click on the ” Application Icon
  • On the screen, you will see the application form
  • Please fill in the required details: State of domicile, name of student, date of birth, community/ category, father’s name, Aadhaar number, mobile number, scholarship category, gender, religion, mother’s name, annual family income, email ID, etc.
  • Next page will appear when you click on “Save & Proceed”.
  • Send the scanned copies of your documents.
  • Click on “Final Submission”
  • Therefore, the application must be submitted.

Check Your Application Status

  • First, visit the national scholarship portal’s website.
  • You will see the home page open right in front of your eyes
  • Click on the login link to access the homepage and choose your year.
  • You will now need to enter your application ID number and password
  • Next, click on Check Your Status
  • You will see the application status on your screen

To find your AISHE Code, applicants must follow the following steps:

  • From the drop-down menu, click to know your AISHE code.
  • Choose your type of institution, state, district, or university type and choose your name
  • Click the submit button to see a list of colleges that have AISHE codes

  • You can find your payment information at the official website.
  • Click the to know your payment.

Download App of National Scholarship Portal

  • First, visit the national scholarship portal’s website.
  • You will see a home page.
  • You will need to click on the homepage.
  • You will now need to click on “Install”.
  • The app will be downloaded to your mobile phone

Filling the Registration Form

  • Visit the national scholarship portal’s official website
  • You will see a home page.
  • You will need to click Institute login.
  • Login A login form will now be available in front of your eyes where you need to:
    • Choose an academic year
    • Enter user ID
    • Now, enter your password
    • Enter captcha code
    • Click here to log in to the NSP profile
  • A dialogue box will now appear on your screen asking you to click the OK option. Click on the OK option.
  • Register now Get it now! Registration Form You will find it right in front of your eyes.
    • First, upload the identity document of the Nodal officer of the institute to your registration form. To do this, click on the choose file button and select the desired image. Remember that the image must be in PDF format or JPEG format. It should not exceed 200kb in size. Next, click on Upload Identity Proof.
    • You will now need to fill in all required information on the registration form, such as:
      • AISHE/DISE/NCVT Code
      • Name of the Institute
      • Are you looking to modify the name according to AISHE/DISE in NSP
      • Nature is your teacher
      • Affiliated board/university name
      • The total student body in the institute
      • Address of the Institute
      • Institute state
      • District
      • URL of the institute’s website
      • Detail about the head of the institution
      • Information about the designated Institute Nodal Officer for NSP
  • OTP An OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number the Nodal Officer of the Institute. Enter the OTP into the OTP box. Fill in all the other information.
  • Fill in the information carefully before submitting it. After saving the information, click the Save Form option. Then, you will need to click the final submit button.
  • Reference ID After submitting the form, a reference ID is generated. The form will then be sent to the district Nodal officer.
  • Print out: You will need to print this form and give it to the Nodal officer in your district. You must sign and stamp the form.

How To Update The Profile Of The Institute

The new password will be sent to the registered mobile number of Institute Nodal officers if the registration form has been approved by the district Nodal Officer. To make your profile functional, you will need to log in with a new password. Follow the steps below.

  • Login A login page will now appear in front of you, where you need to:
    • Choose an academic year
    • Enter password
    • Enter the user ID.
    • Enter captcha code
    • Click here to log in to the NSG profile
  • OTP –Now OTP will go to the registered mobile number of the Nodal Officer. Enter the OTP, then click on confirm OTP.
  • Password Reset:Now, a new page will open for you. Here you can reset your password. You will need to click submit after that. You will now need to click Continue to Login.
  • Profile Update:Now, the Nodal Officer at the institute is required to make the profile update. Click on administration to do this. After that , click on administration.
  • OTP:Now an OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number. Enter the OTP, then click on confirm OTP.

What to Do for Scholarship Form

  • Please read the guidelines: Scholarship applicants are expected to carefully review the guidelines. To avoid confusion at the next stage, please carefully read the eligibility criteria, application guidelines, ineligibility, and other details.
  • The deadline for the scholarship must be kept in mind: When applying for scholarships, applicants should remember the deadline.
  • Keep the following documents handy: All the documents such as identity proof, address proof and income proof must be available before you fill out the application form. Without all required documents, the application will be incomplete. It is a good idea to have a soft copy of all documents on hand in order to ensure a smooth application process.
  • Before submitting an application, applicants must proofread it and verify every detail. Some scholarships don’t allow for corrections after submission. Sometimes, incorrect information can cause your scholarship to be rejected.

Institute Nodal Officer Registration Process

  • For the academic year 2019-20, institutes that log in for the first-time will need to complete the registration form for institute nodal officers
